ಥoಥ: How are they like when they cry? Do they just stream tears nonstop? Does their nose get clogged to the point that it’s hard to breathe? Is it easy for them to speak when they are sobbing? Do they hiccup when they cry?
Under a cut, because it’s long.
Kyouhei has many types of tears due to the fact that he cries very often (at the drop of a hat, even), but no matter what causes him to cry a few things will always be the same.
For example, he will always start losing his voice - it’ll crack/break, he’ll start to hiccup and stutter, and sometimes it’ll be so bad that you can’t clearly hear what he’s saying. If he feels the reason for his tears was undeserved than he’ll usually call the person who made him cry out on it, but otherwise he’ll apologize or just allow the person to go off on their tangent.
Kyouhei never gets a stuffy or drippy nose while crying, which is good because he considers his crying face to be gross enough with sniffling and boogers.
He also always gets shaky, and will always look for some sort of comfort if a friend or trusted acquaintance is around to help. Physical contact is his go-to quick heal.
If it’s only a quick cry (caused by harsh words or small, short-term injuries) he’ll bounce back once it’s over, especially if given something to help him along (sugar or water, for instance).
If it’s tears caused by serious injury, long-lasting emotional pain, stress, etc., then it takes much longer to recover from and Kyouhei will continue to cry about it throughout his healing period, which usually involves limited contact with other people and lots of self-doubts.
