A nightly stroll for this sinful yet beautiful beast suits him so well. He is a man who enjoys solitude and silence. Can’t be blamed, who wouldn’t. It makes him a mysterious man. One that his Karamatsu Pearls will fall for and wish to know him.
“Who is that man?” “He’s so mysterious..” “What a handsome devil!” Words he’d hear every time he takes a stroll. Though that was all played in his mind, it was all a fantasy. No one actually said anything. They didn’t pay him any mind to be honest. He was a delusional man.
However would this be part of this delusional man’s fantasy if someone actually approached him? Not to mention had complimented him?
Now what was said earlier, that was all in this man’s delusional mind. He wasn’t cool, mysterious, though he was indeed handsome, the moment someone actually does approach him and compliment him, he’ll suddenly break character instantly. Like now.
❝O-oh hello.. I was just wanting to take a stroll under these beautiful stars.❞
Kyouhei giggled, one hand cupping a now-rosy cheek as he admired the person he’d approached, now close up and in a more appreciative, personal manner.
“Well, you know what else is beautiful?” He reached out and pressed a finger under the stranger’s chin, tilting it up slightly (thank god there wasn’t much of a height difference) and leaning forward a bit.
Kyouhei was a long since coiner of the term “night stalker” in vampire society. It basically meant that whether or not he was the type to crumble in the face of the sun, he primarily prowled after it retreated and the sun took its place.
It was more comfortable in his opinion. No one would see the unnatural pale sheen of his skin at night because everything looked unnatural in the light of the moon. It was also much easier to grab a consensual bite to eat from a large variety of people.
He wasn’t particularly hungry, but holding off on at least getting a snack tonight would probably spell trouble for the future, and so he was on the hunt for a cute and clean neck.
“Hello, hello.” Kyouhei sidled up to one of the more secluded people on a familiar corner, fangs peeking out of his wide, playful grin naturally and his eyes twinkling in the street lamp light. “What is a lovely man like you doin’ on a lovely night like this?
There were certain cliches about his kind that Kyouhei couldn’t understand at all. Garlic? Well, actually, wasn’t that supposed to ward off diseases in some Dark Age old wives tales?
Having their head chopped off? Everything was weak to that. Wooden stakes? Let’s see you try to continue after having a stake shoved through your heart. Just because they didn’t use it didn’t mean it didn’t have a purpose.
The sun? Okay, that was a real thing, but that didn’t mean he understood it. Maybe it was because of the way their bodies functioned? Or maybe it was part of whatever curse allowed them to be animated after death.
As a self-proclaimed Vampire Scientist, Kyouhei would not rest until he found out what it was.
“So how about it?” He smiled, with an admittedly sly look in his burgundy eyes, at Kajika, hands folded together in a prayer stance. “Feel like helping me out for a moon cycle or two?
